Turkey tail is one of the best researched mushrooms and sits right on top with other medicinal mushrooms. Many edible mushrooms contain selenium, vitamin D and vitamin B3, which is part of what makes them strong immune boosters, in addition to the nutrient-rich soil and decaying matter where they live.*

Because there is no particular habitat associated with quality turkey tail, the expenses associated with dedicated foraging of this item are prohibitive. We forage turkey tail only incidentally. We do not and will not grow turkey tail. If our turkey tail is showing as in stock, it means that we foraged it in the wild and that we have some available. We also have a waiting list for turkey tail that you can join by contacting us at turkeytail@whitemountainmushrooms.com. Please indicate your desired quantity and contact information.
